MINUTES <br />PLANNING COP,'iMISSION "WISED" <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Cafeteria at the <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, September 16, 1981 <br />CALL TO ORDE R <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:20 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey <br />and Joyce Getty, Chairperson <br />Commissioners Absent: DeWitt C. Wilson (vacation) <br />Staff Members Present: James R. Walker, City Manager; Robert J. Harris, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; <br />Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities; Brian W. Swift, Assistant City <br />Attorney; and Shirley McDougall, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Council Member Present: Karin Mohr <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the 8/12/81 meeting were approved after clarification of <br />page 3, paragraphs enumerated 1, 2, and 3 relating to the length of the <br />Planning Commission meetings. Commissioner Jamieson stated he wanted to <br />emphasize that one-half hour was to be allocated by the Planning Director <br />in planning for the agenda and fifteen minutes for Design Review Board <br />and Board of Adjustment. The Commission concurred but agreed the Planning <br />Director should use his discretion in scheduling cases for each agenda. <br />REVISIONS AN`D OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that Item 6h, RZ-81-17, relating to Annexation No. 91 <br />would be continued until 10/14/81 inasmuch as the proposal must be <br />readvertised; further that Mr. Richert requested that the design review <br />be continued but that there was no reason to continue the use permit <br />application inasmuch as this is just an expansion of an existing use. <br />He further said that Item 5a, Z-88-66 will be continued to 10/14/81; and <br />the Peters Avenue Land Use Study should be continued. <br />REPORTS ON CITY COUNCIL ACTIONS <br />Mr. Harris presented the City Council actions for the two meetings since <br />8/12/81. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />Z-81-66, Amador Savings and Loan Association <br />Application of Amador Valley Savings and Loan Association for design review <br />approval for an approximately 7,000 sq. ft. two-story savings and loan <br />building to be located on the west side of Main Street, 225 ft. south of <br />__ _ .LL__ . _... ,. _ .. _ . _ <br />
