MINUTES <br />PLANNING CONlMISSIOTd <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Cafeteria at the <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, November 18, 1981 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Chairperson Joyce Getty <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; <br />and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: Karin Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the October 28, 29 and November 4, 1981 Planning Com- <br />mission meetings were approved as submitted. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris reported that the application of Daon Corporation is to be <br />continued to the December 1, 1981 Planning Commission meeting, 7:00 p.m., <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-81-22, Daon Corporation <br />Application of Daon Corporation and Stoneson Development Corporation to <br />rezone from PUD-High Density Residential District to the Planned Unit <br />Development-Commercial, Offices, High Density Residential and Open <br />Space District (including a 5 acre park) and for development plan <br />approval for an office/commercial/residential development containing <br />approximately 1,430,000 sq. ft. of office/commercial structures, a <br />300 unit hotel and 347 multi-family dwelling units on the 91.5 acre <br />site in the area bounded by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road and <br />Interstate Highways 580 and 680. A negative declaration of environ- <br />mental impacts will also be considered. <br />
