Commissioner Jamieson addressed the residential aspect of this <br />proposal. Mr. McVicar explained. He addressed the soundwall type <br />balconies proposed for the higher buildings to attenuate noise. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked if the residential portion would be started <br />right away. Mr. Cox stated that if the bonding program were to go <br />through it would be developed soon and in phases and that if the <br />bond program did not proceed, he doubts it would be developed until <br />there was a softening in the financial market. <br />Mr. Harris then indicated that the matter should be continued to <br />December 16, 1981, 7:00 p.m. Alameda County Fairgrounds. The <br />Commission concurred. <br />Commissioner Doherty asked about the hotel proposed and Mr. Cox <br />said it would be of the type which accommodates conferences, etc. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, this matter was continued to <br />December 16, 1981, 7:00 p.m., Alameda County Fairgrounds at 9:20 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~~~ <br />Robert J.
