RZ-81-23, City of Pleasanton
Mr. Harris explained Mr. Vic Lund's (the property owner) request for a
modification to the Planning Commission prezoning application concerning
the recent prezoning of the 250 acre site. He said that Mr. Lund has
asked that the following condition be added to the recommendation for
prezoning:
That when a development plan is submitted on the subject
property the City shall consider, if requested by the
property owner, a shift in residential density from Parcel
2 as shown on the accompanying map, Exhibit A, attached
hereto and made part of this case by reference, to Parcel 1
as shown on that same map. Density on Parcel 1 shall not
exceed 3 dwelling units per gross acre. Nothing herein
shall be construed as guaranteeing any certain residential
density on any part of the subject property. Specific
density will be established only by approval of a develop-
ment plan; and the City at this time is not approving any
specific number of dwelling units on any part of the
subject site.
The public hearing was opened.
Vic Lund, 2000 Marciel, Livermore, explained the request and urged
approval of the proposed condition. He said they would like to be
able to transfer density from the back of the property to the front
because they are not planning to sell the back 200 acres at this
time.
Commissioner Wilson asked if 196 acres would remain in the Williamson
Act. Mr. Lund said it would remain in the Williamson Act for nine
years from January 1, 1982.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner
Jamieson, that the condition as stated be incorporated into the
Planning Commission recommendation of approval for case R2~-81-23.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and
Chairperson Getty
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
Resolution No. 2112 was then entered and adopted for case RZ-81-23 as
motioned.
ADJOURNMEIIT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:10 a.m.
by Chairperson Getty.
Respectf ly submitted,
c .
