MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Cafeteria at the <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, December 16, 1981 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Chairperson Getty. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, <br /> DeWitt Wilson and Joyce Getty <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br /> Brian W. Swift, Assistant Cit y Attorney and <br /> Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />None were submitted for review. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEi~1BERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris in icated that a zoning problem exists at 1851 Rose Avenue, <br />property owned by Mr. Altieri and the matter is to be added to this <br />agenda as item 7a. He further indicated that the property owned by <br />Vic Lund recently prezoned should be discussed to add another condition <br />as 7b. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBE RS <br />Chairperson Getty indicated that a lot of material was distributed to <br />the Commission for review for the first time at tonights meeting and <br />wondered if the Parrish and Daon projects should be deferred for <br />review of the items distributed. <br />Commissioner Jamieson stated he felt that over the past several months <br />they have had too much, too soon, to consider and that in 1982 it would <br />be a good idea to revert to one meeting a month for the Planning Com- <br />mission, Design Review Board and Board of Adjustment. Other Commissioners <br />indicated they didn't have time to study the information provided. They <br />indicated this has been brought up and carried out in the motion made by <br />Commissioner Wilson at the last meeting concerning the proposed moratorium <br />on development applications. They indicated they have not received <br />direction from City Council yet regarding sewers, RAP exemptions, etc. <br />Mr. Harris explained the additional material furnished by the staff to <br />the Commission was for informational purposes only and that the matter <br />of park dedication fees being waived as mentioned in the memorandum from <br />the Park and Recreation Commission is not a matter over which the Planning <br />Commission has control. <br />
