P/C <br />Page 16 <br />2/23/83 <br />Commissioner Getty indicated that this matter is going to be one discussed at <br />the League of California Cities Planning Institute in Monterey which four of <br />their members plan to attend. She suggested that this matter be put in abeyance <br />until after they have attended the Institute. The Commission concurred with <br />this suggestion. <br />Commissioner Doherty then asked if these units could be either attached or <br />detached. Mr. Swift explained. <br />Commissioner Getty and Doherty then discussed sewer connections, etc. Mr. Swift <br />explained about the requirements of a second kitchen. Chairperson Lindsey <br />inquired about an additional bath being added. Mr. Swift said under the City's <br />existing ordinance that adding a bath does not constitute a separate unit. <br />Newspaper Dispensers <br />This matter was continued to 3/9/83. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Mr. Harris reviewed the City Council's actions of 2/22/83 with regard to the appeal <br />of Yanez for a variance and the Lund-Connolly appeal.
