The public hearing was then closed. Commissioner Getty indicated her concern that this building would block the view of the Farmers building and Commissioner Wilson said he had gone to the area and that the Holiday Inn would not block the view at all due to its location back from the highway. Commissioner Lindsey stressed that his major concern was traffic at the intersection. He had no problem with the height and feels it is a good design. Parking was a small concern. However, he felt he could not make a decision on this application without more detailed information on the traffic. Commissioner Wilson indicated this could kill any future development in the area as the traffic would impact all developments.
