PLANNING COT~'IISSION <br />Page 5 <br />5/11/83 <br />Fire Chief, Joe Hill, addressed the Commission regarding the <br />Fire Department's requirements for this property and the <br />measures that have been taken by Holiday to meet all the <br />standards. <br />The public hearing was then closed. <br />Commissioner Getty indicated her concern that this building <br />would block the view of the Farmers building and Commissioner <br />Wilson said he had gone to the area and that the Holiday Inn <br />would not block the view at all due to its location back <br />from the highway. <br />Commissioner Lindsey stressed that his major concern was <br />traffic at the intersection. He had no problem with the height <br />and feels it is a good design.
