PLANNING COMMISSION
Page 12
5/11/83
of a two parcel split or posting a bond for the estimated cost
of the sewer line.
Commissioner Doherty moved to continue this matter to May 25, 1983
to allow staff to review possible alternatives. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Wilson.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and
Chairman Lindsey
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
MATTERS FOR CONLMISSION'S REVIEW
Fair Five-Year Capital Improvement Program
The staff report of Mr. Harris was reviewed and discussed by
the Commission. No action was taken.
At this point, Commissioner Doherty indicated he had received
telephone calls from parties wishing to buy into the Amador
Meadows affordable housing project, who indicated that either
the houses were not available or the price quoted was higher
than that approved by Council. ?~ichard Glenn responded to the
Commission's questions indicating it was possible that all the
houses had already been sold as there was a rush for them the
first couple of days they were on the market. He also indicated
there was a clause in the agreement which allowed them to
increase the price based on inflation and proof of additional
costs to the City Attorney. Mr. Glenn was to be talking to
Mr. Hull shortly and would clarify the status of the development.
Reorganization of Planning Commission
It was moved by Commissioner Wilson, and seconded by Commissioner
Getty, that William Jamieson be elected as Chairman of the
Planning Commission. This motion was unanimously approved.
A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner
Wilson, nominating Gregg Doherty as Vice Chairman of the Planning
Commission. This motion was also unanimously approved.
COMMUNICATIONS
There were none.
