MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, August 10, 1983 <br />B:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 8:OOpm by <br />Acting Chairman DeWitt Wilson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Al Arrigoni, Joyce Getty, Larry Lindsey <br />and Acting Chairman DeWitt Wilson <br />Commissioners Absent: Gregg Doherty and Chairman Bill Jamieson <br />(out-of-town) <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; <br />Robert Okamura, Assistant City Engineer; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: None <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of 7/27/83 were deferred to 8/24/83 for approval. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Getty reported that they received a notice of modification <br />to the Southern Pacific project on First Street. She asked if the outline <br />of the building would effect the trees or rose garden. Mr. Harris <br />responded that, if anything, the building might be smaller than <br />originally planned. Commissioner Getty asked when the development <br />would start. Mr. Harris indicated he wasn`t sure but that the developer <br />has said for several months they were ready to start. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked about a soundwall for Heritage Valley and <br />made reference to a letter received by the Commission in this regard. <br />T.._...... _. ..,. ....... ...___ ._. ... .. _.T.. <br />
