Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />9/28/83 <br />Page 13 <br />District or Homeowners Association. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Arrigoni, Getty, <br />Lindsey and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2363 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-83-18 as motioned. <br />Communications <br />Mr. Harris reported that Mr. Ananos volunteered to remain to <br />address the 'used car lot' at Amador High School. <br />Mr. Ananos stated the parking lot at Amador has become a big <br />problem of the School District. They have been informed that <br />if they put stickers on the windshields, they will have insurance <br />problems with regard to liability. They have been working <br />with the Police Department and will probably be placing signs <br />on campus with vehicle codes. They have also been working <br />with Mr. Bonanno, the Principal regarding this. <br />Commissioner Arrigoni thought there was an ordinance prohibiting <br />this use. Commissioner Getty made reference to a similar use <br />across from the Goe car lot. Mr. Harris stated that this was <br />a rental business for cars. <br />Commissioner Lindey said the point is the <br />should be aware that the School District <br />the problem. Mr. Ananos said they can't <br />but they do want to eliminate the parking <br />He said sometimes it is very difficult to <br />has a for sale sign on it and the drivers <br />facilities and when cars are placed there <br />Planning Commission <br />is taking care of <br />close up the site <br />of cars for sale. <br />tell when a car just <br />are using the school <br />only for sale. <br />City Council <br />Mr. Harris reported that City Council denied the appeal of <br />the Chesterman design review and concurred with the Design <br />Review Board concerning this item. <br />Mr. Harris stated that at the previous meeting the Planning <br />Commission initiated a general plan amendment with regard to <br />Peters Avenue from St. Mary Street to Bernal Avenue. He asked <br />for confirmation that the Planning Commission meant from St. <br />John Street to Bernal Avenue.
