MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />11/9/83 <br />Page 17 <br />Commissioner Wilson stated he didn't concur with staff's recommendations concerning sites <br />No. 2 and 3. Commissioner Lindsey stated he agreed with staff's recommendation concerning <br />No. 2. Commissioner Doherty said he hoped the School District has done their homework. <br />Commissioner Doherty felt that if there was more of an influx there would be more busing <br />problems. He had a problem with letting all of the school sites go. He wanted to see the <br />property in the Crellin Road vicinity be Low Density Residential. <br />Commissioner Wilson felt that Medium Density Residential would yield about $65,000/acre <br />and Low Density Residential about $40,000/acre. He felt there would be sewer problems <br />down the road. He was more concerned that the School District get its fair share of the <br />money ,but didn't want all of the school sites gone. <br />CommissionerLindsey felt that Site No. 2 should stay as it is. He agreed with the staff recommendation <br />concerning the rest of the property. He concurred that the School District should have the <br />opportunity to sell the property. <br />Commissioner Getty wanted to see Low Density on the Crellin site. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that the <br />negative declaration for case GP-83-15 be adopted inasmuch as changes proposed within <br />that application would have no significant adverse effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, <br />Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />None <br />None <br />Nore <br />Resolution No. 2389 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for case GP-83-15. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Wilson as follows: <br />That the following property be changed to Medium Density Residential: <br />0.91 acre Pleasanton School site <br />That the following property remain "Community Facilities -Schools": <br />7.57 acre Del Prado site <br />That the following properties be changed to Low Density Residential: <br />10.5 acre Crellin Elementary site <br />22.2 acre Crellin Intermediate site <br />7.72 acre Mission Park site <br />-17- <br />
