MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, October 24, 1984 <br />8:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of October 24, 1984 was called to <br />order at 8:45pm by Chairman Gregg Doherty. <br />Commissioner Lindsey led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Getty, Larry Lindsey, Kaye Wellman, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Gregg Doherty, Chairman <br />Commissioners Absent: John Innes <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Robert Okamura, Assistant City Engineer; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney <br />and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of 9/26/84 were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA. <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris asked that in Commissioner Innes' absence Item 7b <br />relating o the traffic analysis be continued to 11/14/84; that 7c <br />be added relating to a parcel map for Hacienda Business Park; and <br />that Marriott's be continued to 11/14/84 for CC&R changes. The <br />Commission concurred with this request. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Getty asked about the sign at Kottinger and First <br />Street and whether or not it has been approved. Mr. Harris <br />stated that staff will check into this matter. Commissioner <br />Getty felt that this sign is just short of being a billboard. <br />- 1 - <br /> <br />
