MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, September 12, 1984 <br />7:30pm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 8:12pm by <br />Chairman Gregg Doherty. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Joyce Getty, John Innes, Larry Lindsey, <br />Dewitt Wilson and Gregg Doherty, <br />Chairman. Kaye Wellman, Alternate <br />Commissioner, was also present. <br />None <br />Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning <br />and Community Development; Robert L. <br />Warnick, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities; Robert Okamura, Assistant City <br />Engineer; Brian W. Swift, Assistant City <br />Attorney; and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary. <br />The Minutes of the August 8, 1984 meeting were approved as <br />submitted modifying Page 13 to reflect that the applicant could <br />make up for the lots which staff would like them to remove by <br />obtaining new lots in the greenbelt. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE AGENDA <br />Judith Mayhew, 610 Main Street, represented the Downtown <br />Association. She indicated that the arch of the City needs to be <br />painted and the Association is having a fund raiser to help pay <br />for it. On September 23, 1984 at Amador Savings and Loan there <br />will be a dunking booth. She has already had some volunteers <br />from the Planning Commission and invited the rest to participate <br />for one half hour on this day. Chairman Doherty acknowledged <br />that he is scheduled for 11:OOam. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris indicated that case GP-84-1 was continued to tonight's <br />agenda but does not appear on it.
