Staff is in favor of this use.
Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela, urged the Planning Commission to initiate an application
for a Zoning Code amendment to allow this use in the RM-4 District with a conditional
use permit.
A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Wellman that
this application is initiated as requested.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Wellman and Vice Chairman Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Lindsey and Chairman Doherty
ABSTAIN: None
RZ-83-8, City of Pleasanton
Parking requirements in the downtown area.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report.
Vice Chairman Wilson was not enthusiastic about an ordinance. He would like to
see the results after Valley Avenue is opened and other main arterials connected.
Assessment districts are needed for parking lots.
The public hearing was opened.
Judy Mayhew, 610 Main Street, reported that per the Police Department records 40%
of the parking spaces are vacant.
