MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />6/13/84 <br />Page 5 <br />Commissioner Innes asked the response time of emergency vehicles to that particular <br />area. Mr. Harris indicated that he did not know. Commissioner Wilson <br />if staff was satisfied that a public street could be less than 40'. Mr. Warnick <br />indicated that by four-fifths vote, the City Council could agree to accept 36' wide <br />public streets. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked if the five foot wide widewalk should also be eliminated <br />with the rolled curbs. Staff indicated it would be. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Getty that <br />Tract 5188 be approved subject to the conditions of the staff report modifying <br />Conditions No. 35, 36 and 38 as follows and eliminate Condition No. 37. <br />35. That the typical street section shown on the tentative map be revised <br />as follows: <br />1. 29' right-of-way width (R/W at back of curb). <br />2. Provide an 8' public service easement (P.S.E.) on each side. <br />This section shall apply to the loop street and to the cul-de-sac street. <br />36. The entrance drive, from Crellin Road to the first interior intersections <br />shall be constructed as follows: <br />1. 36' curb to curb street. <br />2. At transition match centerlines, 6' offset in west curb line terminals <br />at first interim intersection, 6' offset in east curb line to be taken <br />up in transition curve. <br />3. 8' P.S.E. behind curb on east side. <br />37. The developer also pay for a proportionate share of facilities necessary <br />as generally described in the Camp Dresser & McKee report of March 1984 <br />entitled "Updated Water Demand and Preliminary Facilities Study for East <br />Pleasanton" and letter dated May 29, 1984 entitled "Additional Water System <br />Analysis." <br />Regarding Condition No. 36 the applicant can work with the City Engineer concerning <br />the details. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Innes <br />Resolution No. 2478 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5188, application <br />of Ralph Martin as motioned. <br />-5- <br />
