MINUTES <br />nRuy 18, 1984 <br />Page 2 <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the proposal. This <br />complex will add to the already occupied AT&T facility as they need to expand. <br />The new building will match the existing building architecturally. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Joe Callahan, stated that he has received his copy of the staff report and has no <br />comments. They have agreed to have the building ready for occupancy January <br />1985 or will be forced to pay reverse rent. He thanked the Commission for their <br />willingness to have the special meeting as it will allow them to meet their goal. <br />Chairman Doherty asked if there was anyone else in the audience wishing to speak <br />for or against this application. No one came forward and the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Wilson <br />that case PUD-81-30-12D be recommended for approval subject to the conditions <br />shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2476 was entered and adopted recommending approval of tees PUD-81-30-12D <br />as motioned. <br />Commissioner Wilson indicated that he would prefer to have one meeting per month <br />for the months of June, July, August and September if at al] possible based upon <br />the workload. <br />Commissioner Lindsey preferred to have longer meetings if necessary but desired <br />to keep the meetings limited to one per month. <br />Mr. Harris asked the Commission which meeting night they would like the Planning <br />Commmisison meetings to be scheduled. After further discussion of the Chairman <br />and Commissioners, it was decided to adopt the following meeting schedule for the <br />forthcoming months: <br />June 13 <br />July 11 <br />August 8 <br />September 11 <br />Chairman Doherty announced that former Planning Commission Chairman Bill Jamieson <br />has had heart surgery very recently. Commissioner Wilson stated that he had <br />talked to Bill and he sounds great and evidently recovering as expected. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Planning Commission meeting of May 18, 1984 was adjourned at 3:45pm by Chairman <br />Gre D h rty. <br />r <br />Rob rt J. arris, <br />Secretary <br />~. <br />
