Mr. Wanrick said he has heard everything from the first of
May to the middle of June. Commissioner Doherty then asked about the
approaches. Mr. Warnick reviewed the plan.
Commissioner Getty expressed concern with children walking up and down
Foothill Road in the morning with areas of no sidewalks, paths, etc.
Mr. Warnick explained that there was a widening pan for Foothill Road,
but those plans are kind of in the air because of actions taken by the
Planning Commission and City Council. Foothill Knolls will have a trail
to the east of the project and perhaps this is a better route for the
children to travel than Foothill Road.
The public hearing was opened.
No one addressed the Commission.
The public hearing was closed
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Getty
that the negative declaration for this rezoning be recommended for approval
because prezoning this property will have no significant adverse effect
on the environment.
-10-
. _ _ ..__.___ ..-___.__.~.r~..__ _ _ _
