11 <br />THE CITY OF <br />_. <br />#~°~°°~'~'~' "" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />~L£ ~S~4NTONo <br />May 1, 2007 <br />Mayor <br />TITLE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF CITY REPRESENTATIVE TO <br />PLEASANTON COMMUNITY OF CHARACTER COLLABORATIVE <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />SUMMARY <br />The Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative (PC3), formerly known as the <br />Pleasanton Community of Character Coalition, has recently formalized its organizational <br />structure to become an independent non-profit corporation. To ensure that the members <br />the PC3 Board of Directors represent the breadth of community interests and <br />stakeholder groups, the City has been asked to appoint a representative to the board. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Mayor recommends Council member Thorne be appointed as the City <br />representative to the Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative Board of <br />Directors. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact. <br />
