MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSI('~ <br />February 22, 1984 <br />Page 8 <br />Ms. Challice rebutted that they have built 10,000 homes over <br />the last 30 years; the first solar home in Santa Clara, etc. <br />The Commissioners did not feel this comment was related to <br />the requirements for landscaping in their models in Pleasanton. <br />Commissioner Lindsey felt that the City should have landscaping <br />on all of their models. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that all findings as shown in the staff report are <br />made and that case UP-84-5 be approved subject to the conditions <br />shown therein, including Condition No. 1 which requires landscaping <br />on all four model homes. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey, <br />Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2433 was entered and adopted approving case <br />UP-84-5 as motioned. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />REFERRALS <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Mr. Harris stated that on 2/23/84 there will be a joint Pleasanton, <br />Dublin, Livermore Planning Commission meeting in Dublin. Chairman <br />Jamieson and Commissioner Getty indicated they would attend <br />this meeting. The others could not attend this meeting. <br />Commissioner Doherty announced that he plans to attend the <br />upcoming Planning Commissioners Institute hosted by the League <br />of California Cities in San Diego.
