MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
February 8, 1984
Page 9
Commissioner Doherty stated he has been approached by long-time resident Mr. Rathbone
concerning naming new streets after old Pleasanton families. Commissioner Lindsey felt
that might be a good idea for a project for the Chamber of Commerce to look at. Mr. Harris
stated that some of the old Pleasanton family names are being used in Heritage Valley.
Chairman Jamieson felt it would be a good idea to find out if there are any Congressional
Medal of Honor recipients in the City whose names could be used. Commissioner Doherty
said perhaps interested citizens could be involved and a suggestion made to some of the developers.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business the Planning Commission meeting of February 8, 1984 was
adjourned at 10:43pm by Chairman Jamieson.
Respectfully submitted,
~~ ~L~
Robert J. Harris,
Secretary
RJH/sm
_ ...._._ ...___.__.. _ _.._._ _. ..__. __ __. __.__._ ..... _.~ __ .... .. _.. __. T ._.. _
