iviiciutes <br />rlttnning Commission <br />January 11, 1984 <br />Page 8 <br />PUD-80-1-2M, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to modify the provisions of Ordinance No. 928, <br />limiting the uses allowed at the "Valley Business Park" located in the vicinity of Quarry <br />Lane south of Valley Avenue to allow churches and similar religious and meeting facilities <br />in existing structures within the project subject to the review and approval procedures <br />of the City. Zoning for the subject property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial <br />District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mark Warmerdam, 3133 Catawba Ct., spoke in support of this application. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Getty that <br />case PUD-80-1-2M, be recommended for approval as recommended in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Acting Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Doherty, Arrigoni and Chairman Jamieson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2415 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case PUD-80-1-2M <br />as motioned. <br />UP-83-57, Savco Construction <br />Application of Savco Construction Company for conditional use permit approval to <br />operate a model home complex consisting of two model homes, a sales office and related <br />facilities at 212 and 218 Tomas Way. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />High Density Residential District. <br />Acting Chairman Wilson announced that he would abstain from approval of this project <br />since Savco Construction is his company. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Tom Wilson, 474 Mission Drive, represented the applicant. He stated he was available <br />to answer any questions and concurred with the staff report. <br />There were no questions of the Commissioners and the public hearing was closed. <br />-8 <br />
