<br />r <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, December 11, 1985 <br />8:o0pm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of December 11, 1985 was called <br />to order at 8:OOpm by Chairman DeWitt Wilson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />RAT.T. r~nr.r_ <br />Commissioners Present: Brian Hoyt, John Innes, Larry Lindsey <br />Sharrell Michelotti, Kaye Wellman, and <br />DeWitt C. Wilson, Chairman <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert Okamura, <br />City Engineer; Dennis Beougher, Assistant <br />City Attorney; and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of November 26, 1985 were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Swift asked that item 6e, application of Vandenberghe <br />Properties be continued to 1/8/86 for changes to development <br />plan. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Innes directed staff to prepare a draft policy which <br />could be used for signage in the area east of I-680 to Santa Rita <br />Road (North Pleasanton industrial area) because the City will be <br />receiving many applications relating to parapet signing in tall <br />buildings in the area. He wanted to be assured of consistent <br />standards for considering sign applications. This suggestion was <br />- 1 - <br />
