Commissioner Michelotti said she did not have any problem with the townhouses as long as they can be Low Density Residential. She did not have a problem with the number of units on the west side but had problems with the units being visible. Commissioner Innes made a motion that these applications be referred back to staff for input, review by the Planning Commission on December 11, 1985 The motion was seconded by Commissioner Michelotti. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti NOES: Commissioner Lindsey and Chairman Wilson ABSENT: Commissioner Wellman ABSTAIN: None Chairman Wilson said he does not agree with Commissioner Innes. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW Initiate an Ordinance Code change concerning the distances separating structures, related to the height of structures in the R-1- Zoning District. Mr. Swift reviewed the request for initiation of an Ordinance Code change. A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Michelotti that an ordinance code amendment be initiated relating to height of structures in the R-1 Zoning District. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, Michelotti and Chairman Wilson NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Wellman ABSTAIN: None Memorandum concerning landscaping of Gay 90's. No action was required of this memorandum. COMMUNICATIONS Chairman Wilson indicated he supported staff meeting with residents on these projects and urged them to meet with the neighbors concerning Hacienda Phase 2 prior to its consideration. Mr. Swift indicated that staff has had four meetings in the past with residents surrounding various developments, but that the meetings have now stopped. - 13 -
