Minutes <br />Planning Commissic <br />10/9/85 <br />approximately 0.32 acre parcel from "Open Space" to "Commercial <br />and Offices. The property is located on the southwest corner of <br />the intersection of First Street and Stanley Boulevard and is <br />currently zoned "A" (Agricultural) District. <br />PUD-85-16, Jon Westerland <br />Application of Jon Westerland for PUD <br />Development)-High Density Residential <br />plan approval to construct three resin <br />existing dwelling on an approximately <br />3939 Vineyard Avenue. Zoning for the <br />(Multi-family Residential) District. <br />(Planned <br />rezoning <br />lential u <br />.23 acre <br />property <br />Unit <br />and development <br />nits behind an <br />site located at <br />is RM-4000 <br />The above public hearings were continued to 10/23/85. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Commissioner Wellman presented a status report regarding the Post <br />Office. She indicated there are two proposed site plans <br />available one prepared by the Post Office staff and one by TJKM <br />which are currently under review by various City departments as <br />well as the Chamber of Commerce. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey that a recommendation <br />to the City Council be made for a Post Office Committee to <br />consist of one City Council Member, one Planning Commissioner, <br />one Post Office person, one Chamber of Commerce Person, one <br />resident and one north Pleasanton business person and perhaps a <br />couple of Planning staff members. Commissioner Wellman indicated <br />she would like to have a letter from the Planning Commission to <br />the Post Master General and a separate letter to Pete Stark <br />concerning this matter. <br />Commissioner Innes indicated he had occasion to mail 196 letters <br />and has found out that it takes an average of 11 days for <br />delivery. <br />Commissioner Wellman will be taking this matter to City Council <br />November 21, 1985. <br />Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule <br />The Planning Commissioners discussed the date of the second <br />meeting in November as the scheduled date would be the evening <br />before Thanksgiving. Discussion ensued with Commissioner Wellman <br />indicating she would not be here for the 26th. After further <br />discussion, it was determined there would be sufficient members <br />available to have the Planning Commission meeting regularly <br />scheduled for November 27 on November 26, 1985, Tuesday evening, <br />8:OOpm. <br />Joint Meeting, City of Tracy <br />Mr. Swift acknowledged receipt of a letter from the City of Tracy <br />asking for the Commission to consider a joint meeting. AFter <br />further discussion, the Commission felt this would be a good <br />- 3 - <br /> <br />
