MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW Commissioner Wellman presented a status report regarding the Post Office. She indicated there are two proposed site plans available one prepared by the Post Office staff and one by TJKM which are currently under review by various City departments as well as the Chamber of Commerce. A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey that a recommendation to the City Council be made for a Post Office Committee to consist of one City Council Member, one Planning Commissioner, one Post Office person, one Chamber of Commerce Person, one resident and one north Pleasanton business person and perhaps a couple of Planning staff members. Commissioner Wellman indicated she would like to have a letter from the Planning Commission to the Post Master General and a separate letter to Pete Stark concerning this matter. Commissioner Innes indicated he had occasion to mail 196 letters and has found out that it takes an average of 11 days for delivery. Commissioner Wellman will be taking this matter to City Council November 21, 1985. Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule The Planning Commissioners discussed the date of the second meeting in November as the scheduled date would be the evening before Thanksgiving. Discussion ensued with Commissioner Wellman indicating she would not be here for the 26th. After further discussion, it was determined there would be sufficient members available to have the Planning Commission meeting regularly scheduled for November 27 on November 26, 1985, Tuesday evening, 8:OOpm. Joint Meeting, City of Tracy Mr. Swift acknowledged receipt of a letter from the City of Tracy asking for the Commission to consider a joint meeting.
