MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal AVenue <br />Wednesday, October 9, 1985 <br />8:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of October 9, 1985 was called to <br />order at 9:20pm by Chairman DeWitt Wilson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Brian Hoyt, John Innes, Larry Lindsey, <br />Sharrell Michelotti, Kaye Wellman and <br />DeWitt C. Wilson, Chairman <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert Okamura, <br />City Engineer and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the September 25, 1985 meetings were approved <br />modifying page 3, paragraph 4, modifying the first sentence to <br />reflect that with regard to Hopyard Partners that there will be <br />no retail in the new building. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Swift stated that all of the public hearings scheduled for <br />tonights meeting have been continued to 10/23/85. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Wellman stated that when going easterly on I-580 it <br />is difficult to determine which interchange to use to go to <br />Pleasanton. The signs refer to Livermore and Stockton. She <br />suggested staff discuss with Caltrans the possibility of getting <br />this changed to say 'Pleasanton next four exits' or to something <br />- 1 - <br />r <br />
