Minutes <br />Planning Commissio. <br />September 25, 1985 <br />limitations. Mr. Manning indicated that these areas are <br />outside of the CBD. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Vice Chairman Lindsey asked about the height limitation as is now <br />stated. Mr. Swift stated that if 25' is adopted by ordinance a <br />variance would have to be granted to build higher. Vice Chairman <br />Lindsey had problems with an absolute 25' height limitation. Mr. <br />Swift stated that it can be removed from the draft ordinance and <br />placed in the guidelines were it wouldn't be so absolute. <br />Wording such as "buildings not on Main Street shall have a height <br />generally no greater than 25". <br />Commissioner Wellman stated that it appears the Commission agrees <br />that the ordinance and guidelines will enhance the downtown area. <br />Commissioner Inner discussed primary and secondary structures and <br />whether or not these categories were absolute or guides. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Michelotti that Case RZ-85-15 be approved subject to <br />the staff report except that Section 2-2.3423 shall be deleted <br />and placed on the Guidelines as discussed above. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Inner, Michelotti, Wellman and Vice <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt and Chairman Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2707 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case RZ-85-15 as motioned. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />Tract 5520, Brentwood Holding Company <br />Application of Brentwood Holding Company for tentative track map <br />approval to create a 5 lot residential condominium complex on an <br />approximately .4 acre site located at 116 Mission Drive. Zoning <br />for the property is RM-2500 (Multi-family Residential) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Innes, that Tract 5520 be approved subject to the <br />conditions shown in the staff report, as it is in conformance <br />with the zoning for the subject property. <br />- 7 - <br />_ _r _. _ ... _ _ _ ,. <br />
