Minutes <br />Planning Commissioi <br />August 14, 1985 <br />either. Mr. Swift stated that the first meeting would be to <br />review major issues, boundaries, residential density, industrial <br />intensity, etc. The second meeting will be more detailed. <br />Chairman Wilson would prefer that the meetings be one month <br />apart. Commissioner Innes also agreed with this. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Post Office <br />Chairman Wilson stated that Pete Stark has been actively working <br />on the recent concerns expressed concerning the Pleasanton Post <br />Office. <br />Commissioner Wellman stated she is still awaiting maps requested <br />of the City staff concerning the Post Office. <br />Hilton Hotel Color Scheme <br />The Commissioners agreed that the new color proposed for the <br />Hilton is more desirable over the pink color which it was <br />previously painted. Commissioner Innes agreed that he liked the <br />color but felt an accent color could be added. <br />Possible Planning Projects <br />Mr. Swift explained that items similar to the Downtown Design <br />Guidelines is typically the kind of thing that he would like to <br />see staff and Planning Commission work on. Hopefully this will <br />make for better applications. <br />City Council Actions <br />Mr. Swift stated that the City Council has again called up the <br />approval of National Car Rental so that the fencing may be <br />reviewed. <br />Subdivision of Castlewood Residential Area <br />Mr. Swift stated that the Castlewood area now has sewer. He <br />asked the Commission if they would like the County referrals to <br />come before them regarding subdivisions and other items which <br />would have an impact on the City. Chairman Wilson didn't see any <br />reason to jump on this. Commissioner Innes indicated he would <br />like to be advised when subdivisions in this area come about. <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked staff if they would like the <br />Commission to take appropriate action to speed up the <br />implementation of the utilization of the computer services with <br />regard to traffic. Mr. Schaumburg stated that the City has <br />ordered a personal computer to analyze traffic problems given <br />data from the existing traffic computer. TJKM has an application <br />program which they will put into this personal computer. <br />REFERRALS <br />- 12 - <br />
