Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />4/24/P <br />He felt the density was too high for the neighborhood. He liked <br />the development and hoped it could be placed somewhere else. He <br />too supported the comments of Commissioner Lindsey. <br />Chairman Doherty didn't feel that the project was appropriate for <br />the area. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey to deny the project <br />making it very clear that the only reason he moved for denial is <br />that it is not homogeneous with surrounding neighborhood. He <br />otherwise liked the project. This motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Innes and the comments of Commissioner Lindsey were <br />supported also. <br />ROLL i:ALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman <br />Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2643 was entered and adopted denying Case PUD-85-4 <br />as motioned. <br />RZ-85-9, Anthony Vassallo <br />Application of Anthony Vassallo to rezone an approximately 1.96 <br />acre site located at 2884 Foothill Road from the "A" <br />(Agr~_t:ultural) to the R-1-40,000 (Single-family Residential) <br />zoning district or to any other zoning district consistent with <br />the General Plan. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Anthony, Vassallo, Jr., 2884 Foothill Road, presented his <br />proposal. Their house was built in 1975, and they have a <br />dedicated access road used by Cerrutti's and others. It has been <br />redone in the past 1 1/2 years. Chairman Doherty asked Mr. <br />Vassallo if he had received the staff report and concurred with <br />it and Mr. Vassallo acknowledged that he had received it and <br />agree°:; with it . <br />Commissioner Innes had a concern with traffic circulation and <br />driveway onto Foothill Road. <br />Commissioners Wilson and Innes then discussed the easements and <br />access. <br />The p!:blic hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wilson that the negative declaration for case RZ-85-9 be <br />- 7 - <br />
