MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, April 24, 1985 <br />8:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of April 24, 1985 was called to <br />order at 9:12pm by Gregg Doherty, Chairman. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioner Present: <br />Commissioner Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Joyce Getty, John Innes, Larry <br />Lindsey, Kaye Wellman, DeWitt Wilson <br />and Gregg Doherty, Chairman. <br />None <br />Robert J. Harris, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development; <br />Ronald Gee, Assistant Planner; Tom <br />Quaglia, Assistant Planner; Robert <br />L. Warnick, Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities; Robert Okamura, <br />Assistant City Engineer; Brian W. <br />Swift, Assistant City Attorney; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording <br />Secretary <br />The Minutes of April 10, 1985 were approved, amending Page 2 to <br />reflect that John Innes's motion indicated "projections" rather <br />than "awnings". Joyce Getty indicated that Commissioner Innes <br />and noc her made the motion concerning Bill Hirst's two leasing <br />signs. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Harry McGrath, 5153 Springdale Avenue asked that an updated <br />traffic study be done on Springdale Drive/Muirwood Drive to <br />Foothill. The traffic is quite heavy and the last traffic study <br />was done two years ago. He asked for raised hands of the members <br />of th~~ audience indicating those persons for which he spoke. The <br />raised hands were many and represented probably 900 of the <br />audience. Chairman Doherty asked that Mr. McGrath call Mr. <br />- 1 - <br />T <br />
