Minutes
Planning Commissic
4/10/85
The public hearing was opened.
No one addressed this matter. Commissioner Innes asked if Mr.
Amaral had received the staff report. Mr. Harris indicated that
he had had telephone conversation with Mr. Amaral on Monday.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by
Commissioner Wellman that Tract 5486 be approved subject to the
conditions shown in the staff report. They made the finding that
this map conforms to the PUD zoning and General Plan of the City
of Pleasanton.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Getty,
Chairman Wilson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chairman Doherty
ABSTAIN: None
Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and
Resolution No. 2641 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5486
as motioned.
Devor Nurseries
Mr. Harris announced that the Devor Nursery PUD would be heard by
the City Council on 4/16/85. Mr. Fairfield had questioned
whether or not the nursery could expand as it will be some time
before the applicants' are ready to proceed with Phase 2 and
there are no plans to eliminate the nursery at the current item.
They may want to expand the nursery and under the existing
conditions this would be a legal, non-conforming use and hence no
expansion would be allowed. Staff is recommending that a
condition be added that the area of Phase 2 can be used for
nursery purposes, thereby not making it a non-conforming use.
This would allow an additional nursery type structures on the
site subject to just design review approval. The Commission
agreed to this modification.
COMMUNICATIONS
Mr. Harris presented the letter from the Mayor concerning liaison
to the Human Services. After discussion the Commission members
tabled this matter until 5/5/85.
RFFF.RRAT.~
There was none.
MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION
There was none.
ADJOURNMENT
- 8 -
r
