Minutes <br />Planning Commissior- <br />2/27/85 <br />not requiring the southern connection), that the Remen Tract be <br />PUD-Medium Density Residential. Commissioner Lindsey asked why <br />Mr. Wilson would like to see Bernal Avenue connected at only one <br />end. Commissioner Wilson explained that it requires a lot of <br />money to make this extension and it may not be necessary. <br />Commissioner Innes stated that both traffic studies recommend <br />both connections. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2620 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Vineyard Avenue Study as motioned. <br />Commissioner Innes would like to see development halted in the <br />area until the Bernal Avenue connection is made. Commissioner <br />Lindsey felt the Valley Avenue connection is needed to reduce <br />traffic. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes (outlined by Chairman <br />Doherty) that the Sphere of Influence be increased to include the <br />Stonyridge/Ruby Hills area and that this area remain intact and <br />is to remain "A" (Agricultural) and Grazing until the alignment <br />of Highway 84 is finished by the State. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Getty, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2621 was entered and adopted recommending the <br />expansion of the Sphere of Influence. <br />Request to Initiate Code Change for Sideyard fences <br />Mr. Harris explained the history of this request and then recent <br />denial of Sideyard fencing within required setbacks in Del Prado. <br />As a result the developer has requested that the Commission <br />consider an amendment to the ordinance code. Staff recommends <br />that such a change be initiated. for future public hearing. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that an application for a code change to <br />sideyard fencing be initiated.
