Minutes <br />Planning Commissio; <br />2/13/85 <br />Staff does not feel that any residential development would have <br />an overwhelming burden on the street. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Getty that the property described in Case GP-85-2 <br />remain as currently designated, therefore, case GP-85-2 be <br />denied. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2606 was entered and adopted denying Case GP-85-1 <br />as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that the property described in Case RZ-85-4 <br />remain as currently zoned and that Case RZ-85-4 be denied. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioners Innes and Chairman Doherty <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2607 was entered and adopted denying Case RZ-85-4, <br />therefore, leaving the current zoning intact. <br />RZ-85-2, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone an approximately <br />six acre area composed of all properties located on the north and <br />south sides of St. Mary Street and the north side of Division <br />Street between Peters Avenue and the Western Pacific Railroad <br />right-of-way from the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District to the RM-1500 (Multiple-family Residential) District or <br />to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan. A <br />Negative Declaration of Environmental Impacts will also be <br />considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending the zoning be <br />changed to RM-2500 zoning for all but the Amaral property. <br />Commissioner Innes asked for an explanation of the density of <br />RM-4000 and other residential zoning designations. Mr. Harris <br />explained. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Alice Moore, 431 St. Mary St. understands that there is a need <br />for apartments, but felt that the character of the residential <br />- 11 - <br />
