Minutes <br />Planning Commissioi <br />January 9, 1985 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wellman that Tract 5391 be approved subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report including the condition relating <br />to the fencing as proposed by Mr. Harris as Tract 5391 is in <br />conformance with the General Plan. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, <br />Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />Resolution No. 2596 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5391 <br />as motioned. <br />RZ-84-20, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton for amendment to the <br />Ordinance Code to allow 8 foot high rear and side yard fences in <br />residential districts, and to modify the definition of "rear <br />yards". <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report which recommends that this <br />matter be continued to 1/23/85 for a draft ordinance. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked who initiated this change. Mr. Harris <br />indicated that Council member Walt Wood initiated the change. <br />After discussion,it was unanimously decided to continue this <br />matter to 1/12/85 for the preparation of a draft ordinance code <br />change. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Commissioner Innes asked about the availability of sewage <br />capacity for Hacienda Business Park. Mr. Swift explained that <br />the park hasn't used very much capacity and explained why. Mr. <br />Warnick stated that figures are kept by the City manager as to <br />sewer capacity remaining for the city. <br />AT,`T'FFRRAT.S <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Mr. Harris reported on the 1/8/85 Council meeting and the actions <br />taken on the topic of the Del Valle Parkway extension. Mr. <br />Warnick reported that a motion was made and carried to study the <br />issue. <br />- 12 - <br />.r <br />
