Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />January 9, 1985 <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />the use permit. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />J. Jack Bras, Architect, 90 Mission Drive was present <br />representing Zone 7. They concurred with the staff report. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that findings as shown in the staff report are made and <br />that Case UP-84-66 be approved subject to the conditions shown on <br />the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />Vice Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2595 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-84-66 as motioned. <br />Vice Chairman Wilson then announced that Tract 5391 would be <br />heard before RZ-84-20. <br />Tract 5391, Shea Homes and Castlewood Properties, Inc. <br />Application of Shea Homes and Castlewood Properties, Inc. to <br />subdivide the approximately 7.2 acre site located in an area <br />north of Mohr Avenue, south of Trenery Drive and east of Oakland <br />Avenue into 50 single-family residential lots and an <br />approximately 42.4 acre remainder parcel. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density <br />Residential District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval. He <br />asked that an additional condition be added requiring the <br />developer to install fences for all lots in the subdivision for <br />the side and rear yards after submitting a fencing program to the <br />Planning Department for approval. This is to be done prior to <br />issuance of building permits. He explained that this will become <br />a standard condition recommended by staff at the tentative map <br />stage for all developments in the future. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Nathan Meeks, Shea Homes, stated that it is their company's <br />standard policy to provide fences.
