MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />Tuesday, November 25, 1986 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />Tract 5638 be approved inasmuch as project approval would have an <br />insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Resolution No. 2871 was entered and adopted approving the <br />Negative Declaration for Tract 5638 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that Tract 5638 be approved subject to the conditions of <br />the staff report as the proposed subdivision conforms to the <br />General Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Resolution No. 2872 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5638 <br />as motioned. <br />RZ-86-13, Athens Construction Co./Lesico <br />Application of Athens Construction Company and Manuel Lesico to <br />rezone an approximately 1.6 acre site from ~~A~~ (Agricultural) to <br />CS (Service Commercial) District located at 3878 Stanley <br />Boulevard. <br />UP-86-47, Athens Construction Co./Lesico <br />Application of Athens Construction Company and Manuel Lesico for <br />a conditional use permit to operate a lumber and building <br />materials sales yard on an approximately 1.6 acre site located at <br />3878 Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is ~~A~' <br />(Agricultural) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff reports recommending approval of <br />Cases RZ-86-13 and UP-8G-47, indicating that design review <br />approval was granted earlier in the evening by the Design Review <br />Board for this use. <br />The public hearing was declared open on RZ-86-13 and UP-86-47. <br />Bob Ferreira, applicant and owner of Athens Construction stated <br />he agrees with the conditions shown in the respective staff <br />reports. The operator of the lumber yard has been in the <br />business for over 25 years. Mr. Ferreira, will, however, <br />- 10 - <br />__ T .. <br />
