Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />August 13, 1986 <br />Resolution No. 2817 was entered and adapted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration prepared for Case GP-86-6 as <br />motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that Case GP-86-6 be recommended for approval <br />as recommended in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES• Commissioners Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />• Vice Chairman Innes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Berger and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2818 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case GP-86-6 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Michelotti to initiate a change in the General Plan <br />for the adjacent Shell service station site to bring the 5uchral <br />Plan into conformance with the existing use and zoning. <br />change could be done in conjunction with the overall General Plan <br />amendment which will occur with the adoption of the new General <br />Plan. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES• Commissioners Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Vice Chairman Innes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Berger and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />The application for a General Plan amendment was so initiated. <br />GP-86-7, Pleasanton Joint Elementar School District <br />Application of Pleasanton Joint Elementary School District to <br />amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan from "Public and <br />Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential" for an <br />approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission <br />Hills Park. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />Commissioner Wellman asked about a proposed middle school. <br />Mr. Swift stated that the School District hasn't actually settled <br />on a site yet. <br />Vice Chairman Innes asked if the exhibit attached to the staff <br />report (topographical map) is to be interpreted as an absolute <br />definition of the "Medium Density Residential" and the "Open <br />Space" or is it just conceptual.
