Recently she was in a couple of other cities where
this type of thing was incorporated and it improved the downtown
areas considerably.
Commissioner Inner asked about the situation on Foothill
Road/Raccoon Hollow.
Mr. Okamura reported that restriping is the County's version as
to how the layout will work. Discussion has been held regarding
the elimination of the left-turn pocket. The County says to
write a letter and when the area is slurry sealed after the Fair
they will consider it.
Commissioner Innes instructed staff to write a letter to the
County to remove the left-turn pocket. This direction was
seconded by Commissioner Hoyt and supported by the other
Commissioners.
Chairman Lindsey stated that in his area between the asphalt and
the curb, weeds growth. He asked if the City sprays these weeds.
Mr. Okamura said he doesn't know, but would find out.
OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings
PUD 86-1, Adams/Combs/Skinner
Application of Earl Adams, Robert Combs, and William Skinner for
development plan approval for a 17 unit single-family residential
development, to be located on an approximately 10 acre site
located approximately 400 feet west of Martin Avenue between Mohr
Avenue and Cameron Avenue.
