Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />4/23/86 <br />Commissioner Innes stated that the Commission prefers to see a <br />project proposed as it is intended to develop and not have five <br />items added to make changes so that a project is approved. He <br />would support denial of this project at this time. <br />Chairman Wilson asked if the applicant would prefer to have this <br />matter continued for redesign by their civil engineer. Mr. Bitz <br />stated they would prefer a continuance. <br />The public hearing was again closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that PUD-86-1 be continued to 5/28/86 for redesign. <br />Commissioner Lindsey then rejoined the other Commissioners. <br />PUD 85-16, Caroline/Westerlind <br />Application of Brad Caroline and Jon Westerlind for rezoning from <br />RM-4000 (Multi-family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) - Hiqh Density Residential District and <br />development plan approval to construct a two-story, two-unit <br />apartment complex on an approximately io,ioo square foot site <br />with an existing residence, located at 3939 Vineyard Avenue. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Jon Westerlind, 4487 Pleasanton Avenue, agreed with the staff <br />report except he stated that the 13'6" setback has been changed <br />on the plan to 15' at the request of the staff. They agree with <br />the conditionuf dergMaarnandohavelbeenounableeto makeacontactdaso <br />contact Mr. A <br />of this time. <br />Chairman Wilson asked the applicant if he agrees with all of the <br />conditions. Mr. Westerlind said he agrees with all of them <br />including Condition No. 5. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Innes that Case PUD-85-16 be recommended for <br />approval subject to the conditions of the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />AYES: <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2783 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-85-16 as motioned. <br />- 4 - <br />
