Minutes Planning Commission 4/9/86 Dan Smelcher, Pastor, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, urged approval of their application indicating they concur with the staff report. The public hearing was opened. No one addressed this matter. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner Michelotti that Case UP-86-4 be approved subject to the conditions of the staff report. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Michelotti, Wellman and Chairman Wilson NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2780 was entered and adopted approving Case UP-86-7 as motioned. Commissioner Lindsey announced he would abstain from the next case. UP-86-12, Investec, Inc. Application of Investec, Inc. for a conditional use permit to operate an automobile washing facility/service station/automobile leasing (limousine service), to be located on an approximately 1.25 acre site, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of California Avenue and Washington Street. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District. 2r. Quaglia presented the staff report recommending approval of this application. Commissioner Innes pointed out that there are no hours of operation stipulated in the conditions. Mr. Quaglia responded that the hours of operation are not a significant issue given the location of the proposal. The public hearing was opened. Harvey Kameny, Investec, Inc. stated they have read the staff report and agree with the conditions. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Chairman Wilson that the findings in the staff report are made and that Case UP-86-12 be approved subject to the conditions shown thereon. - 6 -
