Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />4/9/86 <br />Dan Smelcher, Pastor, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, urged <br />approval of their application indicating they concur with the <br />staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Michelotti that Case UP-86-4 be approved subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Michelotti, Wellman <br />and Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2780 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-86-7 as motioned. <br />Commissioner Lindsey announced he would abstain from the next <br />case. <br />UP-86-12, Investec, Inc. <br />Application of Investec, Inc. for a conditional use permit to <br />operate an automobile washing facility/service station/automobile <br />leasing (limousine service), to be located on an approximately <br />1.25 acre site, located at the southeast corner of the <br />intersection of California Avenue and Washington Street. Zoning <br />for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial <br />District. <br />2r. Quaglia presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />Commissioner Innes pointed out that there are no hours of <br />operation stipulated in the conditions. Mr. Quaglia responded <br />that the hours of operation are not a significant issue given the <br />location of the proposal. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Harvey Kameny, Investec, Inc. stated they have read the staff <br />report and agree with the conditions. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Chairman <br />Wilson that the findings in the staff report are made and that <br />Case UP-86-12 be approved subject to the conditions shown <br />thereon. <br />- 6 - <br />
