Minutes <br />Planning Commission. <br />February 26, 1986 <br />Resolution No. 2765 was entered and adopted denying Case <br />PUD-80-15-4D as motioned. Commissioner Innes suggested that <br />perhaps Mr. Martinez might like to go through the appeal process. <br />Vice Chairman Lindsey told the applicant he had 15 days in which <br />to appeal this decision to the City Council. He encouraged the <br />applicant to do so and ask Council for direction concerning <br />development of his property. <br />PUD 86-1, Adams/Combs/Skinner <br />Application of Earl Adams, Robert Combs, and William Skinner for <br />development plan approval for an eighteen-unit single-family <br />residential development to be located on an approximately ten <br />acre site, located approximately 400 feet west of Martin Avenue <br />between Mohr Avenue and Camron Avenue. Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential <br />District. <br />This item was continued indefinitely. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />UP-86-3, Ponderosa Industries, Inc. <br />Application of Ponderosa Industries, Inc. for a conditional use <br />permit to allow for the establishment of an energy conservation <br />exhibit in an existing model homes sales complex located at 7017 <br />Corte Blanca. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this use permit application. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Richard Jacobson, PG&E, made a presentation urging approval of <br />their request. <br />Commissioner Hoyt and other Commissioners asked if the <br />advertising was aimed at everyone City-wide or just to those <br />looking through the model homes. Mr. Jacobson said they are <br />looking to address their residential customers. He reviewed <br />their proposed appliance display. The second phase of their <br />proposal would be a pilot testing in customers' homes. "Time of <br />Use" program is being stressed by the PUC. When they install the <br />display and for some reason they do get additional traffic and it <br />does become an issue, they will by no means continue their <br />program at this location. <br />Commissioner Wellman asked if the appliances would <br />an upgrade.
