Minutes <br />Planning Commissioi. <br />January 22, 1986 <br />PUD-85-19, Vandenberghe Properties <br />Application of Vandenberghe Properties for rezoning from "O" <br />(Office) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and <br />development plan approval to construct a four story, 64,000 sq. <br />ft. office building on an approximately 4.9 acre site located on <br />the north side of Happy Valley Road, between the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company right of way and Interstate 680. <br />This item was continued to 3/12/86 as requested by the applicant. <br />UP-85-53, Ponderosa Homes <br />Application of Ponderosa Homes for a conditional use permit to <br />operate an existing model homes sales complex consisting of a <br />sales office and five model units located on the north and south <br />sides of Corte Blanca, approximately 100 feet west of Paseo Santa <br />Cruz. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this case. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Len Fryer, Ponderosa Homes, spoke indicating their agreement with <br />the conditions of the staff report. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that all findings as shown in the staff report <br />are made and that Case UP-85-53 be approved subject to the <br />conditions shown therein. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Vice Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2748 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-85-53 was motioned. <br />UP-85-54, Zavala <br />Application of Leonard Zavala for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a take-out food establishment to be located at 6280 West <br />Las Positas Boulevard. Zoning for the property is CN <br />(Neighborhood Commercial) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report which recommended approval <br />of the conditional use permit. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />- 2 - <br /> <br />
