Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />October 22, 1986 <br />The following additional conditions were recommended: <br />"That the drop-off "snorkel lane" be deleted from the site plan, <br />with direction to the applicant to seek a dual snorkel lane on <br />Chabot Drive south of Owens Drive or elsewhere in the general <br />vicinity of the site; <br />That a temporary driveway connecting the main entrance driveway <br />on Site 51C (at the Owens Drive median break) to the Site 51B <br />parking lot shall be included in the improvements for Site 51B; <br />That the owner of Site 51B shall enter into a lease with the U. <br />S. Postal Service for a period of no more than 10 years; if the <br />Postal Service wishes to be retained beyond that time frame, it <br />or the owner shall make separate application and shall be <br />approved only after a traffic study indicates that there will be <br />no adverse traffic impact; and <br />That in the event the Postal Services does not select Site 51B <br />for its north Pleasanton "annex," this approval shall be null and <br />void; no construction shall take place on Site 51B until a lease <br />or other document found satisfactory by the City Attorney has <br />been entered into between the owner and the Postal Service for <br />its use of the site for a post office annex." <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that the negative declaration prepared for Case <br />PUD-85-8-2M be recommended for adoption inasmuch as project <br />approval would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2859 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the negative declaration proposed as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that PUD-85-8-2M be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2860 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of PUD-85-8-2M as motioned. <br />- 13 - <br /> <br />
