Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />June 24, 1987 <br />Chairman Lindsey said while he appreciates Mr. Romero's request, <br />the buyers know what they are getting when they purchase the <br />lots. <br />Commissioner Mahern asked how many lots in this development have <br />been sold. Mr. Quaglia said he didn't know, but there seemed to <br />be quite a bit of activity based on counter inquiries. <br />Commissioner Michelotti stated she agrees with staff <br />wholeheartedly and was concerned with the precedent-setting <br />nature of this proposal should it be approved. Staff recommended <br />approval of the previous overall modification because it improved <br />the overall development itself. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Tarver, seconded by <br />Commissioner Michelotti to deny Case PUD-82-16-3M for the reasons <br />given throughout the testimony. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Mahern, Michelotti, Tarver and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Berger and Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-72 was entered and adopted denying Case <br />PUD-82-16-3M as motioned. <br />The applicant was advised that they have 15 days in which to <br />appeal this decision to the City Council. <br />PUD-87-2, Harbor View Investment, Inc. <br />Application of Harbor View Investment, Inc. to rezone from ~'A" <br />(Agricultural) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Commercial and Offices District and development plan approval for <br />a seven-story 150 room hotel, restaurant, and related facilities, <br />to be located on an approximately 3.6 acre site, located at 11920 <br />Old Dublin Canyon Road. <br />Mr. Quaglia presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />Chairman Lindsey as the "LOS" at full buildout including this <br />application, and the Stoneridge Drive interchange completed. <br />Mr. Quaglia stated it is projected to be .90. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Jack Smith, attorney, 23320 Foothill Boulevard, Hayward, <br />represented Harbor View. Mr. Smith stated the proposal adds <br />facilities in Pleasanton which are not currently available and <br />they are very excited about the project.
