Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />5/27/87 <br />which would allow Caltrans to contract out extra engineering <br />work. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-80-2-6D, Bernal Avenue Associates <br />Application of Bernal Avenue Associates for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 35,500 sq. ft. retail <br />commercial complex, to be located on an approximately 6.9 acre <br />site located in the area bounded by Koll Center Drive, Koll <br />Center Parkway, Bernal Avenue, and Valley Avenue. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearin <br />PUD-80-2-7D, Martinez/Koll Co. <br />Application of Michael Martinez and the Roll Company to construct <br />an approximately 6879 sq. ft. restaurant complex, to be located <br />on an approximately one acre site located generally at the <br />southeast corner of Koll Center Drive and Koll Center Parkway. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District. <br />Inasmuch as PUD-80-2-6D and PUD-80-2-7D are related, Vice <br />Chairman Michelotti announced they would be heard together, and <br />acted upon separately. <br />Mr. Swift reviewed the two staff reports recommending approval, <br />deleting Conditions numbers 12, 13, and 17, and adding "That the <br />landscape island located opposite the Valley Avenue entrance <br />driveway be extended to a minimum length of 36';" and "That all <br />on-site circulation movements shall be designed to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer to insure adequate emergency <br />vehicle access and eliminate any conflicting vehicular <br />movements," as stated in the memorandum to the Planning <br />Commissioners relating to the revised site plan for Case <br />PUD-80-2-6D.
