Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />5/27/87 <br />is no where for people to walk other than the street and he would <br />also urge the installation of sidewalks. Exercise is mandatory, <br />especially for elderly people, and there is no where to walk. <br />Commissioner Mahern asked staff about paving. Mr. Swift said it <br />is proposed that 6' be asphalted on the east side. Mr. Cooper <br />then showed the limits of the paving on the rendering. <br />Mr. Cottle reported that sidewalks were not planned because it is <br />desired to maintain the rural integrity of the neighborhood. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Vice Chairman Michelotti stated she was happy to see the number <br />of lots reduced over the previous plan. She felt the project was <br />a step in the right direction. <br />Commissioners Berger, Mahern and Tarver liked the resubmitted <br />proposal and reduction of the number of lots. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Mahern to recomend approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for Case PUD-87-8. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Mahern, Tarver and Vice <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-61 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of the negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-87-8 <br />as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commisisoner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Tarver to recommend approval of Case PUD-87-8, <br />incorporating the letter of Mr. Cooper to clarify Condition No. <br />10 and deleting Conditions 8 and 36. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Mahern, Tarver and Vice <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-62 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of Case PUD-87-8 as motioned. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Information Report - Upcoming Cases <br />- 13 - <br />
