Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />May 13, 1987 <br />site. He suggested that perhaps commencement of construction or <br />building permits be issued within 12 months be the criteria used <br />in setting an expiration date. The applicants indicated they <br />have no problems with this .condition. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt, that the negative declaration prepared for <br />Case PUD-87-5 be approved inasmuch as project approval would have <br />an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, <br />Tarver, and Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-48 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of the negative declaration for Case PUD-87-5 as <br />motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that Case PUD-87-5 be recommended for approval <br />subject to the conditions of the staff report, amending Condition <br />No. 12 as requested by the applicant, adding Condition No. 21 to <br />read as follows: <br />"That construction pursuant to a valid building permit shall <br />commence within 1 year. Failure to do so will result in the <br />expiration of the development plan approval." <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, <br />Tarver, and Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-49 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of Case PUD-87-5 as motioned. <br />UP-87-17, Plummer <br />Application of Gilliam and Mary Plummer for a conditional use <br />permit to retain an existing skateboard ramp within the sideyard <br />of an existing residence located at 4754 Sutter Gate Avenue. <br />Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) <br />District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />Case UP-87-17, relocating the ramp as discussed, and subject to <br />the conditions as shown in the staff report. This calls for <br />noise attenuation, moving the skateboard ramp forward of the <br />fireplace, perhaps moving the air conditioning unit. Or, the <br />ramp could be relocated behind the fire place chimney, and it <br />- 4 - <br />r <br />
