Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />May 13, 1987 <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Hoyt indicated to staff that he likes receiving the <br />new Planning Calendar recently introduced in the packet. <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked about a trailer on Las Positas <br />Boulevard which did not come through Planning Commission for <br />approval. Mr. Swift explained that approval of temporary <br />trailers is an administrative function. <br />Chairman Lindsey announced the following assignments for the <br />Board of Adjustment and Design Review Board May - November 1987. <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />Brian Hoyt, Chairman <br />Sharrell Michelotti <br />Ben Tarver <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />Joyce Berger, Chairman <br />Larry Lindsey <br />Marcelline Mahern <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Heari <br />PUD-87-2, Harbor View Investment, Inc. <br />Application of Harbor View Investment, Inc. to rezone from "A" <br />(Agricultural) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />Commercial and Offices District and development plan approval for <br />a seven-story 150 room hotel, restaurant, and related facilities, <br />to be located on an approximately 3.6 acre site, located at 11920 <br />Old Dublin Canyon Road. <br />This item was withdrawn indefinitely for redesign. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-87-5, Stoneson Development Corp. <br />Application of Stoneson Development Corporation to rezone from <br />the RM-2500 (Multi-family Residential) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - High Density Residential District <br />and for development plan approval for a 104-unit townhouse <br />complex, to be located on an approximately 13.5 acre site, <br />located in the area bounded by Stoneridqe Drive, Springdale <br />Avenue, Gold Creek, and Pleasant Hill Drive. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of the <br />application. The only concern staff had was with the wall <br />proposed around the periphery of the property. The wall has now <br />been redesigned to the satisfaction of staff to increase the <br />setback area between the sidewalk and the wall. <br />Commissioner Hoyt discussed the land use designation of the <br />property with staff. <br />- 2 - <br />
