MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, March 25, 1987 <br />8:oopm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of March 25, 1987 was called to <br />order at 8:OOpm by Larry Lindsey, Chairman. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />R(~T.T. C!AT.T. <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Joyce Berger, Brian Hoyt, John <br />Innes, Marcelline Mahern, Sharrell <br />Michelotti, and Larry Lindsey, <br />Chairman <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Others Present: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3/11/87 <br />Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning <br />and Community Development; <br />Gary Leach, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works; Sergeant Jim Balch, <br />Police Department; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Ben Tarver <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked that Page 7, 7th paragraph be <br />amended to add "...traffic on Vineyard Avenue...is a problem..." <br />"She would like the density reduced but compatible with <br />Wisteria..." The last sentence to remain as shown. <br />Commissioner Hoyt asked about the vote taken on the Foothill Road <br />project. The Commissioners advised that the vote recorded is <br />correct. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />MINUTES <br />Jack Hovingh, Muirwood Drive, thanked John Innes for all of his <br />fine work on the Planning Commission. Mr. Hovingh stated that <br />Commissioner Innes is the only Planning Commissioner to ever <br />acknowledge that quality doesn't necessary relate to a lot of <br />money. Mr. Hovingh stated he respects Commissioner Innes' <br />opinions even though he doesn't always agree with them. <br />- 1 - <br />
