The Planning Commission then reviewed areas in which staff acts <br />administratively and those actions currently made by their boards <br />and Planning Commission which could be delegated to staff for <br />decision making. The Planning Commission felt that delegating <br />variances to staff and any routine sign applications currently <br />reviewed by Design Review Board should be investigated for <br />potential delegation to the Zoning Administrator. <br />The Planning Commission then briefly discussed conflicts of <br />interest rules. <br />The Planning Commission then set up a subcommittee including <br />Marcelline Mahren and Jack Hovingh to review staff's progress on <br />its review of Downtown signage guidelines and ordinance. This <br />review should take place in approximately 1 1/2 weeks. <br />Brian Hoyt then volunteered to replace ex-Commissioner Lindsey as <br />Planning Commission member on the subcommittee with Ben Tarver to <br />review the proposed Hillside Development guidelines. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The work shop was adjourned at 9:30pm by Chairperson Michelotti. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />.6`/ <br />Brian W.
