MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />204 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, July 13, 1988 <br />G:OOpm <br />CALL_TO_Ot7DER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of July 13, 1988 was called to <br />order at 8:4t7pm by Acting Chairman Brian Hoyt. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL_CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Herger, Jack Hovingh, Marcelline <br />Mahern, &en Tarver, and Acting Chairman <br />Hr i an Hoyt <br />Commissioners Absent: Sharrell Michelotti <br />Staff Members Present: Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Jim Balch, Police <br />Sergeant (absent during Case <br />PUD-82-1t?-8M, Hlack); and Terry <br />Birkenfeld, Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL_OF_MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the 3une 22, 1988 Planning Commission were <br />approved as amended: <br />Page 17, last paragraph - Commissioner Hoyt preferred to <br />continue the case and have it come back in two weeks. <br />Fage 5, 2nd paragraph - Chairman Michelotti asked if he <br />envisioned a major single use tenant in the smaller building. <br />Fage 12, 1st paragraph - Chairman Michelotti responded that the <br />City Council has the power to overturn the Planning Commission's <br />decision and they could aeeeal_ a petition to City Council. <br />The Minutes of the June 8, 1988 Planning Commission were <br />approved as re-amended: <br />Page 14, 5th paragraph - Chairman Michelotti asked if the <br />Commission felt the First Street project needed to be rezoned. <br />MEETING__OPEN__FOR__ANY__MEMHER__OF__THE_AUDIENCE_TO_ADDRESS_THE_ <br />PLANNING COMMI88ION__ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON_THE_ <br />----------------- ------------------------------------ <br />AGENDA <br />Page 1 <br />
